About a 5 hour drive north in the pouring rain. One doesn't visit Scotland for the weather. Last time we visited Oban it rained solidly for 3 days! In the words of the local Scot.... "ne'er ye mind".
Still the scenery was fabulous and we were in time for the daffodils, which is ironic because at that moment John was thinking that Autumn in England is wonderfully colourful.

We're staying in a Guest House this time, rather than a hotel and we scored well. We were greeted by the landlady this morning who enquired if we had anything to moan about the room. Too may English tourists I think.

This house is across the water and is owned by a fellow who helicoptors himself in and out when he visits. Oh how the rich live!
The sun is shining for the moment, so I'm off for a walk before it changes its mind.....
