Isle of Harris

These island of the Outer Hebrides are such a contrast. The landscape is barren, stony and very few trees are either planted or survive. But they have the most glorious beaches. Beaches to rival Queensland and South West Rocks.



As we drove north we came across these stone houses built on the side of a hill.
